26 Things I’ve Learned in 26 Years

  1. It’s serious but not that serious.
  2. When you argue with fools, people from the outside can’t tell the difference.
  3. Love doesn’t hurt but it isn’t easy.
  4. Stronger together, than separate.
  5. Friends come and go. Sometimes it you, other times it is them.
  6. Your best isn’t always good enough.
  7. I can love you from a distance.
  8. We have two ears and one mouth for a very good reason.
  9. Love no human more than yourself.
  10. You are happier the moment you change your attitude.
  11. I’m not saying don’t pay your bills, but if you’re always worrying about them, that’s all you’ll ever do.
  12. Ask as many calculated questions as you want.
  13. Learn to forgive yourself first.
  14. Death is a natural, uncomfortable part of life
  15. Soul ties are real.
  16. Test are always testimonies. No testimony means you have not learned the lesson
  17. What you allow is what will continue.
  18. Learn to channel your energy with positive people.
  19. Understand your vision is yours and yours alone.
  20. Some people will mistake your passion as aggression.
  21. Cherish your elders, yes the annoying one.
  22. Don’t be lukewarm with anything you do.
  23. Happiness isn’t tangible.
  24. God isn’t punishing you, you will give thanks later.
  25. Learn to be happy with you. No matter where you are, there you are.
  26. There is no such thing as the wrong time. It’s all a lesson.
